The Woodlands Development Group
Woodlands Development Group (WDG) was incorporated in 1995 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and is a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO).
WDG is committed to developing sustainable and affordable housing, creating economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income families and individuals, and assisting in the redevelopment of healthy, viable communities in Randolph, Barbour, and Tucker counties.
Since its inception, WDG has built individual homes for sale or lease-purchase, over two dozen units of rental housing, and assisted in the rehabilitation of many homes in the region. Drawing on these past achievements and the expertise of the nine-member Board of Directors, the WDG staff remains on the forefront of green construction applications in West Virginia.
In 2010 WDG will celebrate its 15th anniversary serving the housing needs of residents throughout Randolph, Barbour, and Tucker counties. The success of our organization depends greatly on the cooperation and commitment of our partners.
